Last year, I was responsible for setting up the entire network infrastructure of the company from scratch. The first step was to analyze the company's needs and size. Considering that the company has multiple departments, I identified the data traffic needs of each department. By doing so, I aimed to prevent any bottlenecks that might affect network performance by starting with segmentation and proper configurations.
While analyzing our company’s network traffic, I noticed unusual activity. Checking the logs, I saw continuous access attempts from unknown IP addresses. Cyberattack attempts were increasing, and I had to take action.
I immediately gathered my team and explained the situation:
"There are unauthorized access attempts to our network. We need to secure our system with a strong firewall."
When we opened our new warehouse, ensuring its security became a top priority. The warehouse houses our most valuable products, making it crucial to safeguard both the premises and its contents. Leading the charge, I planned and executed the installation of an advanced security system.
Recently, I completed a server virtualization project for a company, and I used VMware for this process. I started by analyzing the existing infrastructure. I carefully reviewed the server hardware specifications, such as processor capacities, RAM usage, storage spaces, and network connections. This analysis was crucial because identifying weaknesses and bottlenecks was the first step to improving the system's performance.
